This page may be helpful if you are experiencing difficulties downloading the files you need to play Clan Lord. Follow these easy steps: Step #1) If you have an old version of the Clan Lord program, run it and try to connect to your character or to the demo. If it downloads the updated program and data files you need automatically, you're done. Go to Step #7). Otherwise, continue with Step #2). Step #2) Download the program. Click on the link for the operating system on your computer. Macintosh PowerPC OS 8.6, 9 Macintosh OS X Windows 2000, NT, XP, Vista Step #3) Decompress the program. If you are running OS X, you can do this by dragging it onto StuffIt Expander. Unfortunately, a bug in StuffIt Expander prevents it from expanding gzip (".gz") archives properly under OS 9 and earlier. The freeware MacGzip program is one alternative. It is possible to configure your browser to uncompress gzip files automatically for you. The mime type is application/gzip. Step #4a) If you have just downloaded the program for the first time or otherwise don't have any data files: Go to Step #5). Step #4b) Otherwise: Run the program. It should automatically download the data files you need. Step #5) Download two data files. These files must be placed in the same folder as the program. Choose one option. Click on both links to download both data files. Choose one of the update options if you already have the data files from an older version.
